Octobrrrrrrr

I have reluctantly bid farewell to the summer with most mornings requiring woolly hat and collar up as I walk from car to the 9-5.  Patrick Kielty has bowed out of this summer stint on Radio 2, have to say; Saturday mornings are not the same without said pasty Irishman, it was like listening to the ramblings of a mate when you haven't heard from them for a week.

I have exhausted my supply of face moisturiser and so I'm using a freebie hand cream I got with a magazine.  I know... I can hear the thud of beauty counter experts passing out all over the land.  I can still remember the face of one expert, many moons ago, deep in the bowels of a Manchester department store, beauty expert asked me what I used on my face, when I replied my body lotion because I loved the smell, you would have thought I'd just deliberately sat on her puppy.

The nights are fast drawing in and this is my least favourite time of year.  On the bright side, I do love the crisp bright days with crunchy, orange leaves underfoot but oh how I hate the long dark nights.  If you had any doubt we were in Autumn you only have to switch on the TV for confirmation in X Factor and Strictly!  Strictly is back with a bang and a new format which is working well, ones to watch; Matt Baker, (who knew!?  Except perhaps for Mrs Baker,)  Kara Tointon and Dr Stephenson!  I'm still miffed with the BBC for shelving Arlene Phillips and now, some of the professional dancers who I saw on tour this year by the way and trust me, if the Beeb think those dancers are past their best then they weren't looking in the direction of the stage.  Fake tan, crystals, sweat.... bring it on.

Bought a bottle of Spritzer on way home today, male assistant did a double take because he didn't think I was old enough!  Bless the clearly visually impaired assistant....he made my day!

Loving; The Mentalist, Strictly, Bondi Rescue, Bondi Vet, James Blunt's new toon, steaming soup with bread and butter, jogging, my bed Zzzzzzzzzz
